WELCOME TO MERIDIAN DESIGN ARCHITECTSThe practice that offers a practical approach to ArchitectureMeridian Design was founded in January 1992 since which time links have been both established and developed with a number of important and influencial clients. A balanced outlook and workload has been achieved making the practice an excellent choice for a wide range of projects. Specialist knowledge of working in housing, food, industrial and commercial sectors gained has proved to be invaluable in maintaining a high quality in the projects handled to date. Rigorous standards are applied to all work handled by the practice and we are totally committed to maintaining a hands on approach to ensure close control at all stages. A blend of strengths at concept, scheme design, detail a contract administration stages makes the practice an ideal choice on a wide range of projects. Working both in the traditional architectural role and in the sphere of design and build, team effort is regarded as essential for the success of the practice. The practice often provides a lead role, but we are equally capable of working as part of a team headed by specialist consultants, contract administrators or other professionals. Our skills in 3D modelling have gradually been expanded and utilised to assist our clients with the visualisation of there projects. This ability has been particlarly helpful in the refurbishment market where new construction has been added to existing structures. Three dimensional views have also been included as part of our submission for architectural services on a number of competition schemes. We have considerable experience in working on Listed Buildings and members of the Royal Institute of British Architects National Conservation Group. Recent involvement includes work on a Grade 1 Listed Queen Anne House in Bedfordshire, Grade 2 Listed houses in various parts of the country and also a number of Grade 2 Listed churches within the Midlands area. During 2005 the practice underwent a period of reorganisation. The high level of commitment previously given to our clients has continued as the practice takes on new exciting projects in many different areas. The future looks bright... |
